Love Letters Of A Narcissist - Volume 1

Happy February! Well, we've spent the month of January focused on our "How To Spot A Narcissist" mini-series, so this month we're going to switch things up a bit. I was digging through my closest looking for something when I was forced to come across the 8 years' worth of journals and yearly calendars I kept during that hellish time. I opened one journal and saw where I'd kept copies of "love notes" from my NarcX. I have no idea why other than I wanted to document his words and what he "said" he felt for me.

Now remember, narcissists are charming, charismatic, attractive and they can even be "romantic" but it's all to "woo" you. My NarcX was really good in the art of seducing women...hell, he was an exotic male dancer (aka male stripper) in the DMV area for about 10 years before I met him.

So I'm going to share a few of these each week throughout the month of February. But, since February is the month of "LOVE" we won't spend it entirely on the nonsense of a Narc. We're going to also focus on the most important kind of L-O-V-E and that's #SELFLOVE!

Have a laugh or chuckle with these love letters and then enjoy our self-love/self-care tips, ideas and suggestions for the rest of the month. We'd love to hear from you on anything your NarcX did during his "woo-ing" and love bombing...or if you have a cool, unique self-love idea let us know and we'll share it with the rest of our SpunkyDiva Tribe!

I vow to you
my heart complete,
for you I'll take,
every thought I'll have
will be of you,
I'll love you forever
with a love that's true.

I'll give to you
my days, my nights
my laughter, my smiles,
my love, my life,
I'll give to you
all my dreams,
I'll give myself
and all that means.

I vow to you
to always care,
to always be
one who shares
for everyday,
for now, for then
and for always.

Your Husband Forever and Ever.

How do I begin to tell you how lucky I am
to have you in my life?
I'll start by saying what a gift you gave me
the day you became my wife.

You're my best friend in the good times
and my rock in times of sorrow.
You're the reason for sweet yesterdays
and my promise for tomorrow.

I never thought I could feel this loved
until you became my wife.
You made this year and every year
the best one of my life.

Love Always,

Good...ain't he?!?! Looking back, he was REAL GOOD to be so full of #%!@&* and lie so easy and naturally. Sometimes he would write these himself and other times he would copy someone else's work but send it to me with some mushy line of B.S.

I have plenty more to share in the coming have a chuckle & stay tuned for more "Narc Love Fest" comedy!
